Before You Start

Have These Ready

  • Medicare Card

    Your red, white, and blue card with your Medicare number.

  • Prescription List

    Each medication with the dose and how often you take it.

  • Pharmacy

    The pharmacy you prefer to use, or whether you want mail order.
Step by Step

What the Video Covers

  1. Open the Medicare Plan Finder

    Go to Medicare.gov/plan-compare and add your prescriptions.

  2. Review your costs

    Check the monthly cost breakdown and which pharmacies are preferred.

  3. Click "Join Plan"

    Once you have chosen a plan, start the enrollment.

  4. Choose "Annual Enrollment Period"

    This option appears once enrollment opens on October 15.

  5. Enter your information and submit

    You will receive a written confirmation from the plan.
